Each story can be savoured for its own quirky slant. Each story will give you a new smile to refresh your day.

Martin is a semi-retired teacher, whose four children (two boys, two girls) have families of their own, half in Perth (Western Australia) and the others in NSW.

His first work was as a farmhand driving a tractor grading irrigation bays. Later as a wrought iron shaper and welder, then fitter, for doors, windows and balustrading. All this before attending Agricultural College where he combined rifles as a sport. After commencing teaching at a country school he played basketball, conducted two High School choirs, and played tuba in the town brass band. Now contents himself with flat-water distance kayaking and writing family letters each week, some of which are featured in the book "Cops N Folks" because he reckons our life experiences, are shared more than we think.
